Viaggiare significa anche uscire dalla propria zona di comfort e dalle proprie certezze, scoprire nuovi luoghi, incontrare sconosciuti e prepararsi a imparare qualcosa di nuovo su di loro e su se stessi.
Fotografare significa anche osservare questi luoghi e guadagnarsi la fiducia delle persone, ascoltare le loro storie, i loro problemi e le loro speranze, e ripagarli dando loro voce là dove non arriva.
Per me, riuscire in tutto questo è una delle esperienze più gratificanti.

Travelling is also about getting out of your comfort zone and your certainties, discovering new places, meeting strangers and preparing to learn something new about them and about yourself.
Photographing is also observing these places and gaining the trust of these people, listening to their stories, problems and hopes, and to repaying them by giving them a voice where theirs does not reach.
For me, succeeding in these things is one of the most rewarding experiences.
